Now I’m going to be very honest with you all, I’m not a huge fan of the gym. I’m not going to say I “hate” working out, sweating or anything gym related, but it’s pretty close to that. I’ve had friends get active in the gym, family, hell I dated a man for over a year who religiously went to the gym but I never got into it myself.
That being said, I had the opportunity to attend a class at the lovely The Barre Code and genuinely enjoyed my time. Yes, I ENJOYED working out. Extremely hard to believe, but the actual barre class was just my speed. The workout combined slow movements that I really feel intensified the burn and strengthened my body throughout. I can honestly say as a person who’s not a huge fan of working out I’d go back to this location any day because they just figured out how to do it right!
So The Barre Code, let’s discuss. This place was literally designed with a woman in mind. Why? They have everything you could possibly need to make your working out experience easier if you’re on the run, less dreadful if you hate the gym and refreshing if you’re a veteran in the working out game. The facility itself is bright and fresh with tons of lighting that just generates positive energy throughout. I’m a big believer in vibes and this place gave me a great one. But the thing that I love is that when you actually get into the nitty gritty of working out you’re in a room with dimmed lighting so you can focus on YOU and not what you look like. I know personally I hate looking like a sweaty, hot mess after working out but the room was literally designed to get dimmer the more you work out so you need not worry about what you look like. Pretty awesome, right?
But let’s just say you do happen to leave that intense workout looking crazy.. Not a problem! The Barre Code has you covered with toiletries ranging from bobby pins to deodorant spray and even dry shampoo to make sure you’re leaving looking pretty as can be. The entire concept of this location is to give you an amazing workout but leave looking and feeling ten times better than when you came in. Overall I think that concept is PERFECT, especially for women because let’s be honest with ourselves and that it’s pretty safe to say we focus more on how we look then guys do leaving the gym.
So, if you’re in the Miami area and looking for a new hot spot to get that Spring Break body on fleek, definitely stop by The Barre Code! The facility and staff there are amazing, not to mention the lead trainer is the bomb.com. Check them out guys, I promise you won’t be disappointed.
Here’s some snaps of the experience.
That’s everything! Thank you so much to The Barre Code for having all of us and thank you to The Blogger Union for extending the opportunity. Until next time, stay fabulous.
